Before 2002, the domestic excavator market was completely monopolized by foreign capital, and even the number of imported two mobile phones exceeded the total amount of domestically produced machines. At that time, a large number of "foreign garbage" that was close to scrapping not only caused heavy losses to users, but also greatly damaged the user's trust in the excavator market.
China joined the WTO, and Sany began to work as an excavator. However, on the one hand, it was affected by a large number of second mobile phones. On the one hand, it was also affected by macroeconomic regulation and control, and production and sales were extremely bleak.

In 2002, after the hard work of staying up all night, the first "crawler hydraulic excavator" in Sany history was born. This is the first crawler hydraulic excavator developed by private enterprises in the history of China's industrial development.
