At present, the industry mainly adopts a rubber sleeve seal to prevent the water flow on the rotating frame from entering the grease tank, and the inside of the grease tank is used to prevent liquid inflow. Both methods are prone to seal failure due to rubber aging, wear and the like, and can no longer prevent water from flowing into the tank.
Yuchai Heavy Industry has designed a waterproof structure for the slewing bearing gear grease groove for the problems in the industry. It uses the flow characteristics of the water flow to block and guide. There is no problem of structural failure caused by excessive use. For the whole system, only one vertical torus can be added to prevent the flow of water into the slewing bearing gear grease groove, which has the characteristics of simple process realization, less system parts change and low cost.
