Hebei Ocean Shipping Bulk Carrier Successfully Used Shore Power

Hebei Ocean Shipping New Freighter "Fuqiang China" was recently launched at the 58th Pier of Lianyungang Port. With the auxiliary equipment of the freighter connected to the shore power, the roar of the fuel machine began to gradually decrease until it completely disappeared. The cabin noise was reduced by more than 30 decibels, the smoke was no longer black smoke, and the hull vibration was much smaller. As a result, the “Fengqiang China” freighter of the 180,000-ton bulk carrier owned by Hebei Ocean Shipping Group has become one of the few large bulk carriers in China to install shore power systems.
The company's vice president Ge Enhua said that the system was jointly developed by the group and Lianyungang Port Company. In October 2010, the first "high-voltage inverter digital marine shore power system" was successfully developed in Lianyungang. The system stands out in the national ports with the characteristics of “one interface, high-pressure ship-to-ship, ship-port separation, uninterrupted power supply, and easy operation”. It is the first domestic and internationally leading low-carbon environmental protection and energy-saving project.
Bai Liqun, president of Lianyungang Port Company, said that the shore power system has achieved “ship balance”, equipment installation shipping companies and ports are jointly invested and benefit sharing; installation is convenient, ships do not need to dock, and it takes only 2 to 3 days at the terminal. It can complete the installation work of the equipment; the work efficiency is high, only one high-voltage cable is used for the docking of the shore power cable and the ship, and the docking can be completed within 5 minutes, which does not affect the normal operation; the automation degree is high, and the automatic grid connection is realized. Close the ship's auxiliary equipment, uninterrupted power supply, and will not cause any adverse effects on the ship's equipment and on-grid power grid; the technology is leading, the high-pressure ship-to-ship program is convenient for international use, and it is convenient to formulate international shore power standards.
In the past, when ships were berthing at ports, they were all powered by their own generators. Compared with the power generation of onshore power plants, the power of the ship generator is much smaller, and the unit energy consumption is high and the pollution is large.

The design of this logo can not be too detailed and small, it needs to be larger and simpler so that we can use the different color EVA material to connect them.
