Description
The KSY/KDY series is a horizontal, axially split casing pump with a double volute, multistage design. Impellers are arranged in opposed groups to ensure balanced operation. The KSY model features a double suction two-stage configuration, ideal for high-capacity applications, while the KDY model uses a single suction impeller arrangement for higher head capabilities. The first stage of the KDY model includes a double suction impeller to reduce the required NPSH (Net Positive Suction Head).
Removable wear rings help protect the casing and impeller from erosion, and all impellers are statically and dynamically balanced for smooth performance. The pump complies with the latest edition of API 610 standards in all technical aspects. It is equipped with either special antifriction bearings on both sides or sleeve bearings with ring or forced-feed lubrication. The axial bearing is designed as a segmental thrust bearing to handle high loads effectively.
Standard Material
The construction follows the specifications outlined in the eighth edition of API 610, published in August 1995. This ensures that the pump meets rigorous industry standards for durability, reliability, and performance in critical applications.
