The appraisal opinion shows that the industrialized integrated control of waste rubber tire low-temperature pyrolysis process and complete sets of equipment can produce fuel oil and industrial carbon black, save oil resources, and replace traditional carbon black. It also has the following features: low temperature (≤ 420 °C) , No new catalytic pyrolysis process, depolymerization flash cracking and enhanced indirect heat transfer technology, to achieve industrial continuous production. In addition, the project uses high-temperature harmless (>850°C) utilization technology for non-condensable gases generated during the pyrolysis process to provide thermal energy for pyrolysis reactions and effectively reduce production energy consumption. At present, this technology has obtained more than 30 patents including national invention patents and international patents, and complete sets of equipment have also passed the EU CE certification.

According to Jiang Zhongqin, a senior appraiser of the National Renewable Resources and chief economist of the Beijing Rubber Industry Research and Design Institute, waste tires and waste rubber products are used to produce recycled rubber. Pyrolysis technology can generate fuel oil and industrial carbon black from waste tires and waste rubber products that cannot be materialized to maximize their value. Therefore, the pyrolysis technology at the end of the industrial chain of waste tires and used rubber products recycling is of great significance for the complete recycling of waste tires and used rubber products.

Zhao Jianjun, chairman of Shanghai Golden Key Company, told reporters that the results have been realized in industrialization and have achieved good economic and social benefits. The company’s wholly-owned subsidiary Qidong Jinjian Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., located in Qidong, Jiangsu, has built a 30,000-ton waste plastic tire low-temperature pyrolysis production line. In addition, the company also co-funded with Jiangsu Sanyou Group Co., Ltd. to establish Jiangsu Sanyou Environmental Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and plans to dispose of 200,000 tons of waste rubber tires in a year. The first-phase 40,000-ton production line is now in production.

The reporter also learned that Golden Key is currently working on high value-added applications for pyrolytic carbon black. According to Yang Zhongguang, deputy general manager of the company, pyrolytic carbon black can produce nano-carbon black, which is used in aerospace, military and other defense fields. Among them, about 5% of the top nano carbon black, the price up to 20 million yuan per ton; about 40% of the sub-nanometer carbon black, the ton price is about 80,000 yuan; the remaining nano carbon black, the ton price is 3 About 10,000 yuan, the market has huge profits.
