Yangtze River Chemical Industry Park gathers fine chemicals

Since this year, Wuhan Tianma Industrial Co., Ltd., Jiangrun Chemical Co., Ltd. and other companies have settled in Yingcheng Changjiangjing Chemical Technology Industrial Park. At this point, more than 20 chemical companies have moved from Wuhan to the Yangtze River. In this town 60 kilometers away from Wuhan, a start-up fine chemical industry cluster is on the rise.

The Yangtze River is located in the Yunying Salt Mine and produces basic chemical raw materials. There are large-scale chemical companies such as Hubei Shuanghuan and salt plants nearby, which have the conditions to attract investment to develop the chemical industry. Wuhan, which is not far away from this, has a large number of chemical companies wishing to move out of the urban area in the context of the “retreat into two or three industries” adjustment.

The idle factory buildings of more than 20 original township enterprises in the Yangtze River Valley have become valuable resources for attracting Wuhan chemical companies. In 1998, the Wuhan Chemical Research Institute experimented with an advanced factory in the Yangtze River. At that time, the company's electrolytic fluorine products were in a leading position in the country, but the site of the factory was in downtown Wuhan, limiting the expansion of production capacity. The Changjiang River has both ready-made plants, cheaper electricity than Wuhan, and nearby raw materials. After relocating to the Yangtze River, the factory's production scale quickly expanded by 10 times. Subsequently, Wuhan Three-dimensional, Lifa, Hanxing, Zhicheng, Jihechang, Defu and other companies have settled in the Yangtze River.

In the past few years, the Yangtze River Chemical Industry Park has grown like a snowball. At present, the park has more than 40 chemical companies, organic silicon, organic fluorine, electroplating intermediates, pharmaceutical intermediates, phenolic resin and other five categories, more than 200 series of products, and achieve annual sales of 700 million yuan. Electrolytic organofluorine, silane coupling agent, electroplating additive, and Ribavirin pharmaceutical intermediates ranked first in the nation in sales of 4 products. In 2004, the industrial park was named "National Torch Plan Chemical New Material Industrial Base".

The new district of the Yangtze River Chemical Industry Park will be developed in the northeast direction, and will be adjacent to the adjacent Dongmafang Salt Chemical Industry Group. In the next five years, with the presence of a large number of organic chemical companies such as Wuhan, there will be a considerable scale of development. New Chemical City".
