MC nylon, also known as Monomer Cast Nylon, is an advanced engineering plastic that has found wide applications across multiple industries. It is produced by casting caprolactam monomers under atmospheric pressure, resulting in a high molecular weight (70,000–100,000 g/mol), which gives it superior mechanical properties compared to PA6 and PA66.
Since the late 1980s, Guangzhou Engineering Plastics has been at the forefront of MC nylon modification. By incorporating additives such as lubricants, molybdenum disulfide, graphite, glass fiber, and carbon fiber during the reaction process, we have enhanced the material's wear resistance, corrosion resistance, self-lubrication, vibration absorption, and noise reduction properties.
**Oil Nylon (Green):**
Developed by importing advanced technology from Nylacast Co., Ltd. in the UK, Oil Nylon (Green) is the first lubricated nylon that integrates a liquid lubricant system during processing. This results in a 50% lower coefficient of friction and 10 times better wear resistance than standard PA6 or PA66. Ideal for non-self-lubricating, heavy-load, and low-speed applications, Oil Nylon significantly extends bearing life—up to 5 times longer than PA6 and 25 times longer than phosphor bronze.
