March 2010, Hangzhou launched garbage classification. Green, blue, red and yellow four-color trash can, respectively, for the installation of kitchen waste, recyclable garbage, hazardous waste and other rubbish. After six years of implementation, the concept of waste separation has been accepted by more and more citizens. However, in actual operation, the garbage is not classified, and the wrong-casting of rubbish is still widespread. According to statistics, more than 60 tons of glass bottles, plastic, metal, cloth and other wastes are sorted out daily from kitchen waste.
