Raw material costs increase Mainland raised passenger car tire prices

The mainland group recently announced that due to rising raw material prices and increased energy costs, it will increase the prices of summer passenger cars and light truck tires.

Continental's summer passenger car tire prices will increase by 3% to 4%, and Uniroyal, Semperit, and Barum brand summer passenger car tire prices will increase by 3% to 6%.

The new tire prices will take effect in Europe, the Middle East and Africa from January 1, 2012.

Before the tire prices raised by Continental Group, tire manufacturers including Bridgestone, Yokohama tires, Michelin, Pirelli, and Japan’s Toyo Tyre have raised tire prices in the North American market.
