Weichai's independent intellectual property rights Lanqing engine reaches the top of the world

On June 15, during the fifth day of the "Brand Miles" campaign led by the Ministry of Commerce, Weichai's senior executives met with Huo Jianguo, deputy director of the Department of Foreign Trade. The event highlighted Weichai's growing influence and commitment to innovation in the global market.
Representatives from Weichai Lanqing Engine, a division of Weichai Power with full independent intellectual property rights, emphasized that the company's engines meet Euro III and Euro IV emission standards. These engines are among the best in the world in terms of performance and efficiency, showcasing China's technological advancement in the automotive industry.

According to recent reports, from January to May this year, sales of Weichai Power's WD615 diesel engine series exceeded 70,000 units, reflecting a 15.18% increase compared to the same period last year. As June began, production and operations at Weichai Power remained strong, driven by shifting market trends favoring heavier and larger vehicles, as well as a steadily growing construction machinery sector. These factors have contributed to sustained growth for the company.
Currently, the number of orders for Weichai Power continues to rise. Preliminary estimates suggest that orders for 2006 could increase by approximately 27% compared to 2005, signaling confidence in the company's future performance.
