Working fire in Chicago, 9-17-17

Last weekend, I was on a working fire in the 6th Battalion. The incident was at 5640 S Peoria, a two-story vacant structure with fully involved back porches when we arrived.

It was a tough call, and the crew worked hard to bring the fire under control. The scene was pretty intense, especially with the back porches fully involved. I took a few photos to capture the response and the aftermath. It's always a reminder of the importance of quick action and teamwork in these situations.
