A few days ago, the Xiangfan High-tech Zone Management Committee signed agreements with 14 local companies, including Xiangfan Hengde Auto Parts Co., Ltd. and Xiangfan Jiayu Machinery Co., Ltd., to establish their operations within the Xiangfan Hi-tech Zone Automotive Industry Park. This marks a significant milestone as it is the first time such a large-scale collective project signing has taken place in the zone. The event highlights the growing momentum of industrial development in the region.
According to recent reports, all 14 new projects are focused on the automotive parts sector. The initial investment for these projects totals 918 million yuan, with three of them expected to invest over 100 million yuan each. This indicates a strong commitment from both local and external investors to boost the area's manufacturing capabilities.
On April 14 this year, the Xiangfan Hi-tech Zone Automotive Industry Park officially began construction. To accelerate the progress of the park, the Party Work Committee and Management Committee of the zone seized the opportunity to implement innovative service measures. Within just over a month, they successfully completed key pre-construction tasks, including investment attraction, project review, environmental assessment, and land planning.
To ensure that these 14 projects can be established as quickly as possible, the zone introduced a series of innovative services centered around the concept of "reducing procedures, shortening time, lowering costs, and increasing efficiency." They adopted the "four lines" and "four unifications" approach, which involves frontline command, where officials work directly on-site, services are delivered on the frontlines, and problems are resolved immediately. Unified organization, coordination, inspection, and certification were also implemented to streamline the process.
It is reported that the 14 newly settled enterprises have substantial investment scales and high added value. They are expected to create more job opportunities for local residents and meet national standards for environmental protection and production safety. According to Jiang Shou-de, director of the Xiangfan Hi-tech Zone Automotive Industry Park Office, the 14 companies are expected to be completed and operational by April next year, with 10 of them set to begin construction within the next month.
Once fully operational, these new projects will not only serve as a new economic growth engine for the Xiangfan High-tech Zone but also significantly contribute to the overall development of the local automobile industry. This move underscores the region’s strategic focus on industrial upgrading and sustainable development.
