Qin Zhiqiang, president of the Jiangsu Provincial Chemical Industry Association, said that in 2010, the most welcome part of the Jiangsu petrochemical industry was not the industry scale that exceeded trillion yuan, but the industrial structure was further optimized. First, from the perspective of industry structure, the proportion of the composite material manufacturing industry, which is the main support for the new materials industry, has steadily increased to 18.1%, 1.2% higher than in 2008; the special chemical industry mainly focusing on high-end fine chemical products The proportion also rose to 17.3%, 2.1 percentage points higher than in 2008. Secondly, from the perspective of the scale of production enterprises, the proportion of enterprises above designated size has increased to 70%; enterprises with annual sales of over 10 billion yuan are expected to increase by 5 to 6 to 20 or so. Third, the product structure has been further improved. For example, the ion membrane product accounts for 70% of the output of caustic soda. Fourth, the market structure is further reasonable. With the increase in the development of the domestic market, there has been a change in the long-term dependence on the international market. The proportion of total exports to total sales fell below 10% to 8.9%. At the same time, the export product structure has begun to optimize.
