Zhejiang Chaoda Valve won the Gold Medal of China International Valve Expo

The 3rd China International Fluid Machinery Exhibition and the China International Valve Expo, widely regarded as the most professional, largest, and highest-level event in the Chinese valve industry, took place at the Beijing Exhibition Hall over three days. Over 500 renowned manufacturers from both within and outside China participated, including dozens of well-known international companies from the United States, Germany, Japan, South Korea, and Italy. In recent years, many private enterprises that have made significant contributions to the fluid machinery manufacturing sector also showcased their latest innovations and developments at the exhibition. Industry professionals, including valve users, design institutes, engineering company leaders, and experts, as well as representatives from the Japan Valve Association, the Korea Valve Association, and exhibitors from the U.S. and Europe, attended the event. Zhejiang Chaoda Valve Co., Ltd. presented its 20-year development journey and cutting-edge research achievements, which attracted considerable attention from visitors. Among its latest key products were the QT341Y and QT347Y special metal hard-seal ball valves for media such as mortar, gray water, and slag, the TX41Y and TX61Y metal hard-seal lift plug valves, and the Z23Y, ZF63Y, ZF64Y, T68Y, T67Y, and HQ62Y oilfield high-pressure valves. These products were honored with gold, silver, and bronze awards by the China General Machinery Industry Association and its Valve Branch. The special metal hard-seal ball valve is designed for harsh environments such as high temperature, high pressure, and solid particle-laden media, making it ideal for media prone to coking or sticking. The company has successfully solved challenges related to surface spraying, high-efficiency grinding, and mass production of large-diameter high-pressure spheres. These technologies have filled domestic gaps and are now being applied in major national projects, including Shenhua Group’s “Key Coal Liquefaction Technology” under the “863 Program,” as well as projects by Sinopec Nanjing Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., Shandong Hua Luhengsheng Chemical Co., Ltd., and Sinopec Jinan Branch. These applications have demonstrated stable performance and positive user feedback. The metal hard-seal lift plug valve features a unique mechanism where the cock is lifted first before rotating 90 degrees to open or close the valve. This design ensures minimal wear on the sealing surface during operation, resulting in tight two-way sealing and a long service life. It has been widely adopted in industries such as petrochemicals, metallurgy, and power generation, achieving excellent results and passing provincial technological evaluations. Traditional oilfield mud valves often face issues like clogging and leakage when the drilling platform moves, leading to short lifespans of only two to three months. Chaoda’s oil mud valve, however, can last up to three years without damage. Its special regulating valve ensures a low sealing pressure of about 1 MPa when closing under high pressure, effectively preventing leakage and improving safety. Additionally, the oilfield water injection/polymer gate valve developed by the company uses high-hardness anti-pinch materials to prevent damage and ensure long-term stability. These innovations have earned consistent praise from users. Traditional check valves often fail to seal properly after prolonged use, but Chaoda’s double-ball anti-scaling check valve addresses this issue, ensuring the safety of high-pressure pumping station wellhead devices. The company’s oilfield-specific high-pressure valve series has been successfully applied in projects such as Daqing and Shengli Oilfields, receiving strong recognition from users.
