At present, China's compressors for butadiene production are monopolized by foreign manufacturers, equipment procurement and maintenance costs are high, and more importantly, this "subject to people" state seriously restricts the development of China's related industries. In 2013, Sinopec initiated the special development task of major equipment localization. The screw company of 711 was responsible for the “development of gas-to-gas compressor for oxidative dehydrogenation butadiene unit”. Through independent research and development, it strived to help the domestic petrochemical industry get rid of imports. Machine dependence.
After two and a half years of research and development, the project team carried out a large number of technical research, set up a series of scientific research topics such as atomization spray design, host parameter design, shafting dynamics analysis, and the National Laboratory of Compressors, Shanghai Jiaotong University. Xi'an Jiaotong University and other research institutes have cooperated to design a large-scale screw-type gas-generating compressor with a capacity of 824 cubic meters per minute, which fills the gap in this field in China. So far, the phase acceptance of the project “Development of Gas-Containing Compressor for Oxidative Dehydrogenation to Butadiene Unit” has been successfully completed. In the next step, the project will move to improved design and formal manufacturing.
