Eaton Appoints New President of North American Truck Company

On December 2, 2014, Eaton issued a statement saying that Pavan Pattada has been appointed president of Eaton North America and will formally take office on January 1, 2015.

In 2002, Pattada was Eaton’s senior vice president, responsible for corporate supply chain management. In 2005, he was appointed as General Manager Truck Business of Eaton India. Then in 2009, he became head of operations for Eaton North America Trucks. After the new appointment, he will report directly to Eaton’s president, Ken Davis.

Davis said when he talked about this appointment: "The key to Pattada's success is his extensive business experience and strategic decisions. His full attention to the truck industry and his utmost attention to customer relationships have made him very good. Leading Eaton’s truck business in North America. We are very happy to have such gifted and enthusiastic talents as Pattada, which is an important part of our market and business development.”
