First, attach importance to instrument selection
When the type of flow sensor has been selected, it is very important to select the flow sensor specification and its supporting components. In a word, you can use it well. To this end, two basic principles should be grasped during the selection process; namely, one must ensure the accuracy of use, and the other must ensure production safety. To achieve this, it is necessary to implement three selection parameters, namely, the maximum, minimum and common instantaneous flow rates in the near and far future, the design pressure of the measured medium, and the working pressure.

Second, use before the calibration
On the one hand, considering that there are still such difficulties in the on-site verification of such flow sensors. In addition, if the intention of the purchase is to prepare this kind of flow sensor for more important measurement occasions, such as high-traffic measurement of trade or measurement points with outstanding measurement disputes, and the use of on-site does not have online flow calibration conditions, In this case, it would be too early to tell if all the performance of the flow sensor has been qualified simply by a factory clearance certificate provided by the manufacturer at the time of purchase. Therefore, in order to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the measurement results of the flow sensor in the future work process, it is necessary to send the flow sensor to the department with the verification capability and qualification in this area to conduct a system verification within a full flow range before the official installation. .

Third, do a good job of installation
Although this type of flow sensor does not have much special requirements for process installation and use environment, any type of flow measurement instrument has a commonality that avoids vibration and high-temperature environment as much as possible to interfere with components and maintain the flow sensor with the off-flow state. The smooth and straight inner wall of the straight pipe before and after, to ensure that the measured medium is a clean single-phase fluid.

Fourth, strengthen the post-management
Although this type of flow sensor has many features of automatic disposal and micro power consumption, it still needs to be strengthened after it is put into operation. For example, in order to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the long-term operation of the flow sensor, the system should be regularly calibrated, the header data should be copied, the media parameters should be changed, and the status of the battery should be checked from time to time, and the flow sensor coefficient and lead seal should be checked.

Fifth, pay attention to internal maintenance
If the measurement chamber and its components of the flow sensor need to be regularly checked or cleaned due to grime contamination or other reasons, then one thing must be paid special attention: for turbine flowmeters of the same specifications, the vortex generating body, the guiding fluid, etc. The components cannot be interchanged. Otherwise, the metering factor must be recalibrated and the temperature and pressure sensors associated with it must be systematically corrected.

The five requirements of the selection, calibration, process installation, post-management and internal maintenance of flow sensors, if used properly, will reduce the use of sensors in the future. This is particularly important for continuous production manufacturers.
