Yan Zeng said that the current waste management, desulfurization and denitrification of flue gas, water treatment and soil management will promote the continuous development of the instrumentation industry. The environmental protection industry is mainly divided into detection and management, and monitoring requires instrumentation equipment. While the demand for engineering equipment in the process of governance is relatively small, it will also help the development of the industry.

Yan Zengxuan also said that the country has been closely following environmental protection issues in recent years. Each province, prefecture, and county has set up nearly 20,000 monitoring sites, mainly for the atmosphere, surface water, and pollution sources. Now that the distribution is completed, the second step will be to strengthen the monitoring of atmospheric testing parameters, volatile organics, heavy metals and other indicators. There will be more and more inspection indicators, and the instrumentation industry will take advantage of this development.

At the same time, the instrument is often exposed to extreme environmental conditions, and the lifespan of the instrument is often short. Usually, after two or three years of use, the instrument will face obsolescence and replacement. The instruments at the monitoring sites in all provinces, prefectures, and counties will surely undergo gradual The replacement.

Recently, the State Council issued the "Opinions on Accelerating the Development of Energy-saving and Environmental Protection Industries," proposing that the annual growth rate of energy-saving and environmental protection industry output value is above 15%, and by 2015, the total output value will reach 4.5 trillion yuan, which will become a new pillar industry for the national economy.
