I just got some updates from Eric Haak about a fire incident in Tinley Park. It happened on Sunday, April 8, 2018, around noon, at 7121 Laverne Lane. When the first responding team arrived, they found a fully involved fire on the third floor of an apartment building. Luckily, by the time Eric made it down there, the fire had already been put out. Since there were no tactical shots to take, he decided to snap some pictures of the South Suburban rigs that showed up to assist.
Here’s one of Tinley Park FD's Truck 46. You can see how quickly these firefighters responded and mobilized resources to get the situation under control.
Next is Tinley Park FD's Battalion 46. These guys were right in the thick of things, making sure everything was handled safely and efficiently.
Then there's Tinley Park FD's Tower 48. Their equipment and presence really helped reinforce the operation.
And here's Tinley Park FD's Engine 47. Always great to see such well-maintained vehicles on the scene.
Also, Tinley Park FD's Engine 49 was on point, ready to support any additional needs during the emergency response.
Interestingly, Oak Forest FD also sent over their Engine 40 to help out.
Even their Ambulance 40 was dispatched to ensure all medical needs were covered.
And last but not least, Frankfort FPD's Ladder 2 was there to assist as well.
It's always impressive to see how these different departments come together when needed. Each team played a crucial role in handling this fire, and it's thanks to their hard work that the situation was resolved without any major issues. It’s moments like these that highlight the importance of having such skilled professionals on standby at all times.
