Just got this update from Brad Steinweg. Lansing definitely had a hectic day on their hands. First off, they sent an engine out to Cal City and Munster. But that wasn’t all—while they were dealing with those calls, they also had to handle a fire of their own over in the 18500 block of S. Oakley Ave. Things got even more complicated when they received a medical call during the fire. Luckily, South Holland was able to step in and assist with that part.
Here’s what Brad had to say:
“Lansing had quite the day. After dispatching an engine to Cal City and Munster, they found themselves dealing with a fire in the 18500 block of S. Oakley Ave. To make matters worse, there was also a medical emergency during the fire, which South Holland ended up handling.â€
