How to Use Zinc Oxide Arrester Tester

The MOA-30kV zinc oxide arrester tester is designed to detect internal defects in the MOA valve of the gapless zinc oxide arrester for power systems up to 10kV and below. It measures the DC reference voltage (U1mA) of MOA and the leakage current at 0.75U1mA. . The DC high-voltage power supply, measurement and control system are integrated into one body. All components are concentrated in a single chassis, featuring small size, light weight, etc., and are indispensable equipment for on-site testing of power systems and zinc oxide arrester production plants.

Zinc Oxide Arrester Tester Usage

1. Open the cover of the instrument box and firmly ground the instrument housing.

2. Insert one end of the lightning arrester into the high voltage bushing (H end) of the instrument and clamp the other end with a clamp. Or use a special insulated wire to pull the external test sample from the high pressure side.

3. Close the power switch. After the internal self-test of the instrument, the alarm light will be on and the discharge lamp will be on. The indication value of the two headers is zero ±1 word.

4, press the reset button, the alarm light off, the instrument enters the test state, can be tested.

5. Press and hold the test button for about 1 second to release. The instrument automatically completes all MOA test items.
