Working fire in Des Plaines, 7-7-20

Des Plaines firefighters were dispatched to 701 Albany Lane just after noon on Tuesday following reports of a fire. Upon arrival, crews discovered flames spreading through the attic and even reaching the roof of a two-story residence. Thanks to their swift response, the fire was successfully contained within 20 minutes. Backup teams from neighboring areas were then sent back to their stations shortly after setting up in the staging area.
