China Shipbuilding Heavy Industry News, at 8:00 am on October 19, with the safe exit of all the test personnel, the 106-hour manned test of the mobile mine rescue capsule jointly developed by Qiqi 2 and Kailuan Coal Mine was declared successful. This is the first manned mine rescue capsule in Hebei Province that has been tested by the National Mine Product Safety Mark Center.
It is reported that the cabin is 9.82 meters long, 1.5 meters wide and 1.9 meters high. It has a rated capacity of 8 people, a rated protection time of 96 hours and a maximum protection time of more than 120 hours. When a mine disaster occurs, it can provide life support for the sheltered miners and can withstand the impact of the second explosion. Four technicians from Qiqi 2 participated in the test. Xinhuanet and Hebei Satellite TV reported on the test process.
