The reversing indication function is realized by two rear work lights behind the cab, that is, the work light is a reversing light during the day and a back light at night. This design is based on the fact that this heavy-duty forklift is mostly used for port container handling. The forklift does not need to work with the work light during daytime operation, and the rear work light acts as a backup light. At night, the port light is dim. When the forklift is operating, the front and rear work lights must be turned on to ensure the safety of operations.

The control principle of the forklift's rear work light is shown in the drawing, which mainly consists of mode switch 1, transmission electronic control unit 2, reversing relay 3, battery 4, fuse (5, 10, 12), rear work lamp (6, 7). ), reverse buzzer 8, work light switch 9, headlight combination switch 11, etc. Its working process is as follows:

When the forklift is operating during the day, the mode change switch 1 should be placed in the day position (ie, 1 and 5 closed). When reversing, the transmission control unit 2 sends a low level to the coil of the reversing relay 3, and the main contact of the reversing relay 3 pulls in (ie, 30 and 87 are closed). The current flows from the positive pole of the battery 4, via the fuse 5, the main contact of the reversing relay 3, and the contacts (1 and 5) of the mode changeover switch 1 to the rear working lights 6 and 7, and returns to the negative pole of the battery 4 to form a loop. At the same time, two rear work lights 6 and 7 are turned on, and the reversing buzzer 8 is turned on.

When the forklift is operating at night, the mode change switch 1 should be in the night gear (ie, 7 and 5 are closed), and the work light switch 9 is closed at the same time. At this time, the current is drawn from the positive pole of the battery 4, via the fuse 10, the contacts (1 and 5) of the work light switch 9, and the contacts (7 and 5) of the mode changeover switch 1 to the rear work lights 6, 7 and back. To the negative electrode of the battery 4, a loop is formed. At this time, regardless of whether the forklift is reversing, the two rear work lights 6 and 7 are always on for lighting.

If the work light switch 9 is not closed at night, the two rear work lights 6 and 7 do not respond when the forklift reverses, and only the reverse buzzer 8 sounds. If the night mode changeover switch 1 is in the day position (i.e., 1 and 5 are closed), the rear work lights 6, 7 are turned on only when they are reversed.

In addition, indicators are provided on the work light switch 9 and the mode changeover switch 1 so that the driver can see the working state of each switch at night. When the headlamp combination switch 11 is in the wide-range gear, the front and rear width lights of the forklift are all lighted, and the indicators of the work light switch 9 and the mode change-over switch 1 are always on.
